Description

Echternach is a residential, family-friendy city north-east from the city center and the oldest city in the country. As part of Luxembourg's Little Switzerland, it is one of the most magnificent locations, offering hiking, biking and walking paths, all around the picturesque waterfall, lakes and rock formations. The city's medieval character is mirrored by the Roman Villa, museums and cultural activities, while they city's image has been modernised. With a primary and secondary school, the E29 route, as well as being close to Germany, Echternach is a peaceful and pleasant town to live in and to explore.
