Pétange, Ville

Description

Pétange is unique, to the west of its territory, it adjoins the Belgium-France-Luxembourg tripoint, Where the borders of these three countries meet. It is also part of a cross-border conurbation: The Pôle Européen de Développement cross-border conurbation. The town's main source of wealth is the steel industry, notably the large Arcelor Mittal plant in Rodange. It is a member of a cross-border industrial area created to counter the crisis in the steel industry in the Lorraine Bassin.
