+++ New residential development “Rue des Romains / Rue de Mamer” in Bertrange

Location

Located west of the capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Bertrange benefits from a privileged location in the immediate vicinity of Luxembourg City.
The municipality offers a wide range of amenities, including several restaurants, various shops, a bakery, a butcher, a pharmacy, the municipal administration, the new “Shared Space” area and the post office, all located in the centre of Bertrange.
The Bertrange Park provides a small green oasis just 3.5 km from the development. The park features a lake, a large playground and a restaurant with a terrace.
The “Atert” Cultural and Sports Centre in Bertrange offers approximately 1,500 m² of playground and sports areas, as well as seating facilities for up to 1,500 spectators. The sports hall is designed for basketball, handball and volleyball activities and also includes a fitness room and a tennis court. The large foyer and the new entrance provide additional access to an outdoor terrace and an event hall.

The shopping centres “La Belle Etoile” and “City Concorde” can both be reached in less than 10 minutes. The swimming and wellness centre “Les Thermes” in Strassen/Bertrange, with several pools and a large wellness area, is located only 3.5 km away. The complex also includes a restaurant.

The “Tour DICI” is a 38 km cycling route starting in Luxembourg City, passing through the south-western region and Bertrange, and showcasing the many different aspects of the surrounding municipalities.

Schools

Located approximately 800 m away is the school campus for Cycles 1 and 2, consisting of the early education facility “Butzenhaus” and the two school buildings “Prince Sébastien” and “Beiestack”.

Cycles 3 and 4 are provided at the school campus “Beim Schlass”, located approximately 650 m away.

The European School Luxembourg II (ESL2) is located on Rue Gaston Thorn in Mamer and is only 3.1 km from the development.

Transport

The bus stop “Bartreng, Gemeng” is located 400 m away in the municipality’s new “Shared Space” area and is served by bus lines 5, 6, 225, 226 and 982.

Lines 225 and 982 are dedicated to school transport.

The Bertrange railway station is only 5 minutes by car away and is served by CFL railway line 50 (Luxembourg – Kleinbettingen – border). Luxembourg Central Station can be reached in only 6 minutes by train.

The “Flex” car-sharing service is available through three stations located throughout Bertrange. For shorter journeys, residents can use bicycles available at one of the municipality’s five “vel’OH” stations.

The municipalities of Strassen and Bertrange offer their residents a free “Late-Night Bus” service on Fridays and Saturdays, connecting towards Kirchberg, Aldringen, Hollerich and Bertrange.

The “Ruffbus Berti” is a municipal minibus service operating daily between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. It provides a convenient door-to-door service throughout the locality.

Via Merl, Luxembourg City centre can be reached in only 15 minutes by car. The motorways A6, A4 and A13 provide access to Esch-sur-Alzette in approximately 20 minutes.
